Digital Health Rewired Leadership Summit – here is what to expect

Inspirational keynotes and lively panel discussions on a variety of topics await the attendees of this year’s Digital Health Rewired Leadership Summit 2020.

Throughout the day the Digital Health News team will be reporting on the themes and concerns raised by the NHS IT community.

Sessions to look out for in the programme include a keynote from diversity champion and techUK president, Jacqueline de Rojas, who will be discussing the key attributes of effective digital leadership to achieve large-scale digital transformation.

Phil Booth from MedConfidential will also be speaking on why confidentiality has not been delivered in the digital world even though it is deliverable.

Aside from keynotes, there are a number of interesting – and no doubt illuminating – discussions being held.

This includes the ever-growing Shuri Network which will discuss what actions will make a difference to increasing diversity in digital health.

Delegates can hear from Dr Shera Chok, one of the founders of the Shuri Network, Sonia Patel, joint CCIO, London North West University Healthcare Trust & The Hillingdon Hospitals, Rafiah Badat, NIHR clinical doctoral research fellow, City University, London, Sarah Amani, senior programme manager, University of Oxford and Dr Ijeoma Azodo, honorary clinical tutor, University of Edinburgh.

As well as publishing news stories, the team will be running a live blog throughout the day. We will be providing snapshots of sessions as well as tweets from the day, so be sure to use the tag #DHRewired20 if you want to be included!
